Hi everyone,
I hope you are well, this is the last blog, and today I am going to write about
my experience learning English at university.
First of
all I have to tell I always have loved English. When I was at the school, it
was one of my favorite subjects.
At the
university I have done two English courses, and I think they are so useful.
Regarding the
blogs, I think we spend a lot of time on that and I'm not sure they are useful;
we should use that time to reinforce grammar or other skills.
I think we
should to have six or eight English courses, in this career to know foreign
languages is so necessary and four English courses are not enough.
I am so
interesting in improving my English level. I am going to practice my vocabulary
and grammar watching videos on YouTube. Also I like a lot reading, so I want to
read books in English.
In my free
time I always watch series and movies, and with the aim of improving my English, I watch them with subtitles.
In my daily life,
I do not use English, but I listen to music every day and most of the music I
listen to is in English.
In the future, I would
like to work in international affairs, and for that, it is very necessary to
know how to speak English and other languages.
Finally, I think
to know English is so important and the government should make an neither effort to improve the level of
English in Chilean students, because it is not good.
Hi Mario ! I agree with the fact that we should have more courses of English (in general, whether it's in the EGGP or in Sciences Po). Maybe to improve your level you can practice with some native people ? I heard there's meetings organised to do language exchanges in Santiago :)
